A small / large house to live in a quiet environment.
Inserted in a plot with only 300 m2, next to the golf course of Estoril, this house has a building area of 180 m2, above ground.
The functional program consists of a suite, restroom, kitchen and living room, on the ground floor; a master suite, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper floor; and garage, storage and laundry in the basement.
The challenge here was to overcome the embarrassment of the very reduced deployment area that almost required a volume in the form of a pure parallelepiped.
The subtlety of a contained volumetric set, which included the rotation of the upper volume, relative to the lower, makes the volume less monolithic. Exterior materials, white and wood, exterior complements this goal.
